My Top Five
My top five teaching resources that I have produced during my career. I'm not saying they are any good!
I'd love to know if you think others are better.
Resource Comment Download 1 Pat does Depressions Most requested resource ever. Teaching PowerPoint about depressions, 'Pat Does Depression' video file, 'Pat does Depressions' follow-up file and PowerPoint, Pat plenary video.
56 mb Zip file 2 Darth does soil erosion Darth Vader takes on the process of soil erosion, he chose the dark path you know. Timed and animated PowerPoint. I usually then get the students to storyboard it.
2 mb Zip file 3 Ancient Egyptians do population pyramids Never really took off, but I enjoyed producing it. Ancient Egyptians video file and follow-up PowerPoint.
10 mb Zip file 4 Pop-up drainage basin A meal, a class of coke, a menu and the creative thoughts of friend Jo and this is what happens... does what it says on the label. I don't think we've been forgiven for the menu.
5 Percy raindrop's journey New piece of work , images are courtesy of Ian Murray, students reoganise and then annotate the PowerPoint describing Percy's journey down the river course. A chance for some creative writing ,as well as displaying knowledge of key terminology and features.
